Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer who appreciates having direct line of sight to a fast-growing company. The successful candidate will be comfortable interacting with all levels of customers, from CEO to the operating staff and their engineers. Experience in coordinating with vendors, our internal engineering staff and our client's engineering teams is important. Once in negotiations, the sales role will be heavily involved and at times, take the lead in negotiating the contract to closure. The candidate must be able to handle a highly technical and complex cryogenic process plant sale. Responsibilities:Proposal development of cryogenic process plant opportunities (primarily air separation and natural gas liquefaction), globally. Must be comfortable selling complex systems that require knowledge of process plants.Follow up on all open opportunities to closure / responding to leads.Contributing to marketing efforts including advertising, website management and trade show attendance.Ensuring proper documentation of all sales activities in Salesforce CRM.Some Contract Management responsibilities of existing sales.Ability to discuss both technical and financial information with clients of varying positions.Collaborate with internal and external engineering resources to provide clients with customized proposals when necessary.Ability to understand a client's requirements and weigh them against a solution that will be a win-win both for the company and the client.Understanding the need and following through on sales documentation. Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Candidates without an engineering degree will be considered if they can show strong and relevant experience or other technical degree.Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in a project management, operations management or process engineering role for air separation plants is a plus.Strong technical background and good communication skills a must; knowledge of cryogenic process plants is a plus.Experience in engineered equipment sales of $5MM and above is a plus.Experience in negotiating contractual terms and conditions for equipment sales is a plus.Some domestic and international travel will be required.
