Job Description:

Anheuser-Busch is actively seeking a Belgian Beer Sales Manager position (Full Time Contract Position) to support Belgian Beer brands on behalf of Anheuser-Busch in Marina del Rey, CA. Reporting to the Off-Premise Director, this position is responsible for overseeing the Off- Premise growth of Anheuser-Busch's (AB's) Belgian beers (Stella Artois, Hoegaarden & Leffe) within their territory. The Belgian Beer Sales Manager will manage the execution of Off- Premise programming in key accounts. A successful candidate has an:-- Ability to combine experience & insight to determine how to best meet program needs-- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions for the same-- Ability to set and communicate clear, aligned goals and monitor progress-- Must be highly motivated and results orientedThe Sales Manager will be responsible for the largest and most influential Belgian beer Off- Premise accounts in the market, working to increase overall sales of these brands by increasing sales of client products, highly visible presence in designated retail stores, ensures product look and display is consistent with protocol, and products are properly priced.The Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring that AB's Belgian beers are top of mind for the entire Off- Premise sales force through routine communication. Also, building and maintaining long-term trusting relationships with store associates, location/region management, and client management.Experience Requirements:Must reside or be able to work in Marina del Rey, CABilingual in Spanish is preferredReliable means of transportationMandatory reliable Internet/email accessMust be available to work full time with some evenings and weekendsEngaging, outgoing, approachable personalityPassion for meeting new people and evangelizing outstanding productsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related industryMinimum 1 year beverage industry, retail, retail operations, retail distribution, merchandising, sales, marketing and service organizations requiredPrevious account management experience desirableExperience in engaging store management in sales and/or promotional events requiredAbility to us proprietary systems that track sales, expenses, etcSignificant understanding of remote business tools such as smart phones, tablets, and/or laptop use, including trouble-shooting issues with connectivityProven Leadership Ability/Advanced Supervisory Skills/Demonstrated Coaching SkillsExcellent verbal/written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Highly self-motivated and results orientedStrong customer service skills and ability to work both individually and in a team environmentMust have the flexibility to work all sales promotion dates/times/locations as assigned by client, wholesaler, or distributor----Responsibilities:Oversee the Off- Premise growth of Belgian beer brands within identified wholesaler and accountsCreates and maintains consistent store visit schedule and inputs into assigned system as assignedIn-store samplings and engravings to support retailersWeekend activations within the accounts to gain consumer awarenessPromote and build brand awareness of the Belgian BeersProvides routine market intelligence (feedback) on current market conditions and/or opportunities that may affect sales or category share of productCollects and reports information on competitive product and service offerings to managementEnsures product look and display is consistent with protocol, plan-o-gram compliance, overall appearance and above presentation standards of competitive productsEnsures product is properly priced and POP is compliantAssists in identifying growth opportunities for client sales and marketing initiativesEffectively positions presence in each market and chain/store to drive in-store sales of client productsAssists wholesaler representative with the selling-in of trade solutions, sampling activations, and POC placementForges synergy by maintaining effective business relationships at all levels with a team-based culture of inclusionDevelop and sustain great relationships with key accounts and staffCommunicate and monitor results with wholesaler and AB Corporate teamMonitor event execution while ensuring all key brand KPI's are achievedRepresent the company and its products to customers in a positive mannerMaintain a positive working partnership with local WholesalerSubmit program deliverables accurately and on time each weekKnowledge of local alcoholic beverage lawsPerform additional duties as assignedManage assigned account activities through maintaining regular call frequency, Draught and Key Account Communications, Sales and Distribution Goals, and Account Level Objective Accountability----Additional Details-- Full time contract position - benefits eligible after 60 days-- Competitive salary based on experience-- Monthly stipend car/phone/Internet-- Competitive bonus structure*Candidates MUST submit a resume for consideration*Job Types: Full-time, Contract
