Job OverviewThe ADAS Solutions Technician supports ADAS software
development activities. They are involved in research & data
collection, database development & maintenance, QA testing, and
technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Gather technical specifications, schematics, and data from
various manufacturers, industry databases, and internal
resources.
- Input, update, and maintain ADAS and Automotive Safety related
data (e.g., vehicle model coverage, feature availability, component
specifications).
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Head of ADAS, and VP of
ADAS Solutions to optimize database structure and improve data
storage methods.
- Conduct periodic audits of the database to identify missing or
outdated information.
- Test new database features or functionalities prior to release
to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, working
cross-functionally with support and engineering teams.
- Provide regular progress reports and performance metrics to the
Head of ADAS Support & Systems.
- Contribute to the development of internal documentation,
training materials, and user guides.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and
product reviews to provide insights on ADAS database trends.
- Other duties as required.Requirements:Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Automotive Technology, Computer
Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, particularly ADAS
components and their functionalities.
- Familiarity with relational databases, data entry best
practices, and basic SQL (or other database query languages).
- Proficient with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365,
Teams, Web Interfaces) and data management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage
multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive technology, data
entry/management, or a similar technical research role is
preferred.
- Professional experience in servicing collision-damaged vehicles
is preferred.
- Experience with CCC and Mitchell Estimating software
preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulatory
requirements, and best practices in ADAS.WHAT WE OFFER:
