About the roleBoundary-pushing Workplace Design firm in DTLAis seeking a Senior Interior Architect. The Senior Interior Architectworks as a project leader, and is familiar with every phase of designing a project from conception to installation. This position offers lots of creative ownership and is ideal for someone with Workplace or Hospitality design experience!Key Responsibilities:?-Making efficient and smart design decisions and presenting them directly to clients-Developing design concepts for architectural and millwork detailing-Creating schematic installation drawings, including systems furniture.-Responsible for review and coordination of a complete construction document sets in Revit or Autocad-Understanding of PM tasks such as project schedules, design fees, project budgets, and Construction Administration-Experience sourcing FF&E for Workplace or Hospitality projects-Travel to install your team's projects (mostly on West Coast)?Skills and Experience:- 6-10years previous design experience in the interior architecture with a focus in Workplace or Hospitality Design. If experience has been in Hospitality, must want to transition to doing Workplace Interiors.- Fantastic communication with clients, vendors and team-Excellent experience using AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. This role requires active drafting! Revit training is available but ideally you will have a basic grasp already-Strong knowledge of commercial furnishings, architectural materials and construction costs.-Ability to mentor Junior designers and delegate and manage their tasks- Ability to legally work in the U.S. without needing visa sponsorship- Prior experience working on U.S. projectsJoin this great teamto create Workplaces with personality!
