for Premium apparel?Main purpose of the position:This is a
full-time role for a senior level candidate who will utilize his or
her strategic and organizational skills to lead the development and
execution of the product development and production process for
both import and domestic product. This Director will lead an
existing team of product developers/production while also
continually evolve the structure and strategy for team for all
ready to wear categories along with the denim, swim, sweaters and
other specialty categories. Not only will he or she maintain a full
understanding of key PD processes, productivity, costing and
calendar metrics - this Director will also effectively ensure clear
communication process for such metrics. This position requires an
out of the box thinker who has shown to have effectively
collaborate with existing team members, outside vendors, and across
all levels of the organization.Major Responsibilities:Essential
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.--- Oversee existing vendor relationships to constantly
improve product through production--- Lead internal and external
calendar management to ensure deliveries are met--- Oversee team
WIPs which includes the monitoring of WIPs for all product stages
for multiple brands or categories--- Expert ability to negotiate,
set and approve target FOB costs and retails to ensure margins are
maintained. This includes being able to develop others in doing so
as well--- Provide expertise and guidance to team members on how to
strengthen their negotiation skills--- Lead and drive all phases of
the PD cycle with internal teams which includes managing timelines,
vendor relationships, and budgets to meet launch dates---
Successfully integrate with cross-functional departments to ensure
clarity on product pipeline and ensure on-time deliverables---
Develop and evolve existing capabilities--- Partner with the Supply
Chain team to oversee all seasonal allocations and to
source/onboard new vendors--- Develop and manage the annual budget
for the department--- Effectively manage the overall flow of
allocation, sourcing and development of high quality product
amongst team members--- Continue to advance product development
processes and to communicate it thoroughly and effectively--- Lead
effective workshops for junior level team members--- Cultivate,
interview and train junior members which includes refining their
development process--- Travel overseas to vendors to expedite
product and improve processes--- Complete ad-hoc tasks and
assignments as directed by executivesTo perform the job
successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following
competencies:--- Possess a strong ability to think critically and
be solutions oriented--- Have the ability to have strong
partnership with others which includes being flexible and nimble---
Comprehend and have expert knowledge in all stages of the product
development and production processes (concept through
production)--- Must have a proven ability to handle large amount of
SKUs--- Possess expert knowledge in garment construction and
specifications--- Expert knowledge of product life cycle and
calendar deadlines--- Expert knowledge of fabric, trims, quality
and developments--- Expert knowledge of garment construction and
finishing--- Expert organizational skills, attention to detail, and
leadership skills--- Expert analytical and decision making
skills--- Expert written and verbal communication skills--- Must be
able to thrive in a fast paced environment and short lead calendar
(5 months)--- Expert ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
to ensure deliveries are met--- Expert written and verbal
communication skills--- Expert ability to lead, manage and train
multiple lower level designers and multiple brand categories---
Proactive, self-motivated, expert knowledge of how to delegate and
still meet deadlines with "get it done" attitude--- Expert
attention to detail and mistakes and problem solving skills---
Expert leadership skills--- Must be able to able and willing to
lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger,
hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching,
squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling--- Must be able to sit
for extended periods of timeMinimum Qualifications: -Degree in
apparel manufacturing, product development or apparel design
related field--- 12+years in a product development role or related
field--- 5+ year in a managerial or executive role--- Domestic and
import experience--- Experience across ready-to-wear categories
along with denim, swim, activewear, and knitwear--- Experience
managing larger teams--- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and
knowledge of CAD a plus but not required--- Expert computer skills
including Excel and Google applications--- In depth knowledge of
fabric, apparel, materials, construction and fitPreferred
Qualifications: ---- 10+ years in a management role--- Strong
experience with costing and overseas vendor communication
preferredA successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment

assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a
reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this
role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are
considered in making compensation decisions; including but not
limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience
and training, licensure, and certifications.A reasonable estimate
of the current base hourly/salary range is $120,000 - $140,000 per
