Job Description
The White Moustache is a small batch creator of artisanal yogurt. - -We are currently seeking a part-time assistant yogurt maker to join our dedicated production team at our facility in Century City, California.

Role & Responsibilities
The Production Team Member will assist with batch production. - -This is a -hands on position and will include the following:

• Food handling/working with wet and dry ingredients
• Hand strain and prepare yogurt to desired consistency
• Pot fruit preserves
• Clean and sanitize pasteurization equipment to rigorous standards and observe safety procedures
• This position works autonomously half the time and requires someone that is disciplined and proactive with completing daily tasks without supervision
• Ideal candidates have experience working in a kitchen based environment or in food production related roles. - -However, we are open to training those who would like to learn and have no experience with food - -production. We are looking for someone who is focused on quality, is willing to learn new skills and loves to be a part of a close-knit team.Requirements
  • You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to apply for this position
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the US for this position
  • Required Language: - -English (Spoken and Written)
  • Must be able and comfortable working on your feet/standing for 5 hours or longer
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds during the course of the work daySkills
    • Culinary or food preparation experience, desirable
    • Must be proactive and self-directed with completing daily tasks without supervision
    • Ability to follow directions, adhere to production procedures and work as part of a team
    • Motivated and takes pride in creating handcrafted and artisanal products
    • High attention to detail and cleanlinessPay & Schedule Information
      • Job Type: Part time (Full Time -available for the right person)
      • Pay: $18.00 per hour
      • Schedule: - -3 days
      • Hours: - -1pm-7pm (flexible)
