Description:
The person hired for the position of Supplier Quality Analyst will
primarily be responsible for supplier quality management,
supporting quality investigations and CAPAs, SCAR resolution with
suppliers, exception notice resolution during incoming material
issues, data integrity analysis and resolution, as well as provide
quality support. This includes working with the manufacturing plant
cross functionally on continuous quality improvement with
suppliers, as well as with the business and technical teams to
assure products consistently meet customer requirement.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the
following:
--- Lead supplier qualification, material qualification, and manage
supplier quality by utilizing supplier processes and systems while
improving as needed for effective supplier quality process.
--- Lead resolution of supplier quality issues with suppliers and
local/global team.
--- Apply a working knowledge of quality principles to assigned
processes and suppliers to improve and manage supplier quality.
--- Serve as resolution owner for SCARs, including identifying root
cause and implementing effective corrective actions with
suppliers.
--- Ability to lead continuous improvement efforts in any of the
suppliers for the plant, which may include the following:
o Quality system improvement projects that will enable engineers
utilize change management process for raw material efficiently
o Supplier improvement projects
--- Provide Quality Engineering support to NPI teams.
--- Serve as resolution owner for exception notices during
receiving of raw materials.
--- Manage documentation, including change management requests
(CMRs) for raw material changes, and reports in electronic system,
supplier and material qualifications, risk assessments, customer
questionnaires, etc.
--- Other responsibilities assigned regarding supplier quality as
needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
--- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited
institution or experience in quality related function for minimum
of five (5) years dealing with quality issues
--- Minimum of three (3) years combined experience in quality
experience in a private, public, government and/or military
environment
Preferred Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science, Technology, or
Engineering from an accredited institution
--- Operational experience working with current Quality Management
Systems and processes
--- Knowledge of supplier quality management, Data Integrity,
CFR210 and 211, GMP, ISO9001, ISO13485 or similar ISO audit
technique
--- Ability to understand and champion quality and compliance
requirements
--- Demonstrated ability to drive a Customer First mindset and
Quality Culture within teams
--- Demonstrated ability to deploy system changes with plant sites
globally
--- Lean Six Sigma experience
--- Detail oriented with project management experience
--- Ability to influence at all levels, promoting and driving
change acceptance
--- Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills
--- Solid organizational skills with ability to prioritize and
manage multiple assignments
--- Experience working on cross-functional and global teams
