Job Description:
Job DescriptionHealthcare Staffing Professionals has an
immediate need for a Program Evaluation Analyst. Under the
supervision of the Director of the Center for Health Impact
Evaluation (CHIE), the Program Evaluation Analyst will lead
evaluation activities related to our CDC COVID Equitable Response
Grant. This grant supports efforts to ensure equitable outcomes
from ongoing COVID-19-related prevention and mitigation efforts
across the diverse communities of LA County. Evaluation roles will
include the development and implementation of methodologies to
address evaluation questions of specific local interest as well as
participation in cross-site evaluation plans developed by the CDC's
national program office.A successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or
other doctoral degree from an accredited college or university with
specialization in a field of the behavioral or social sciences
-and- one year's post-doctoral research experience including
responsibility for the design, evaluation and implementation of
research projects in a behavioral or social science field -OR- A
bachelor's degree in a field of the behavioral or social sciences
and any combination of additional relevant education and/or
experience totaling five years; andThe position will start
immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is
initially funded through 2/22/2022 with potential renewal.
Pay Rate-$43.81/hr working 40 hours a week

Shifts: (50% Telework and 50% In Person)8am-4:30 pm
Job Duties· Works as the LA County evaluation liaison to the CDC
for the National Initiative to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities.
Participates in CDC-organized evaluation and performance
measurement activities and meetings.· Plans and develops
qualitative and quantitative methodologies for evaluating all LA
County strategies for implementing the CDC initiative.· Designs
data collection instruments, collects and analyses data, and
reports findings in various formats targeting key initiative
stakeholders.· Interacts regularly with LA County initiative staff
to ensure cultural relevance and equity orientation of evaluation
methodologies and instruments.· Performs other duties as
assigned
Minimum Qualifications:Ph.D. or other doctoral degree from an
accredited college or university with specialization in a field of
the behavioral or social sciences -and- one year's post-doctoral
research experience including responsibility for the design,
evaluation and implementation of research projects in a behavioral
or social science field -OR- A bachelor's degree in a field of the
behavioral or social sciences and any combination of additional
relevant education and/or experience totaling five years;Desired
Skills/Qualifications:
· Experience managing, analyzing, and reporting quantitative data
using SAS, R or Stata required· Experience analyzing and reporting
geographic data using GIS software preferred· Experience conducting
qualitative data collection and analysis (focus groups, key
informant interviews) required· Experience conducting research and
evaluation in diverse communities required
