This is a 6 months fixed term, full time position.

The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC seeks a dynamic Inventory Coordinator professionally skilled in inventory management and has a robust knowledge in dental supplies and demonstrated success in managing outside vendor relationships.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-starter who is detail oriented. This individual will be energized in working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This person must be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of professionals and have the ability to problem solve in innovative ways. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and responsive customer service skills. It is critical for the candidate to have working knowledge of computers, proficient in excel utilization and experience working with dental software.

The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for the ordering, managing, and distributing inventory supplies, equipment, and materials for the Dental school. Responsibilities also include, but not limited to, maintaining inventory reports, working with vendors, and performing various clerical duties. This individual will be working closely with the Inventory Control Manager to develop procedures and processes. In additional, this individual will perform other related duties as assigned or requested. The university reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. The Inventory Coordinator will play a vital part in the daily operations of the Dental school.

Minimum Education: High school or equivalent

Minimum Experience: 6 - 12 months

Minimum Field of Expertise: General office experience.
