We provide a team environment with a dynamic profile of work within the construction industry!The Desktop Support Analyst is someone with a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This is a position you will thrive in if you are a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and like getting up and out from your desk and interfacing with your customers. This position will work Monday-Friday onsite at the Glendale, CA office and 25% travel; on project sites within Los Angeles County.ResponsibilitiesBeing a first level contact for technical support and problem resolution. Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by asking the right questions, identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.Configures, installs, and supports desktop computers, laptop computers, handheld mobile devices, monitors, portable data storage devices, and other general peripherals.Providing job-site setup and turndown, including remote support within the Los Angeles area.Performing a variety of technical operations duties and maintenance tasks.Delivering technical training for customers.Technology asset management and tracking.Conferencing installation, configuration, and support.Communicating Business Technology initiatives and changes to existing systems and solutions.Work on team projects as needed.Other duties as required.QualificationsWhat you will bring to the role:Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer technology or a related discipline.Five (5) plus years of deskside support experience preferred.Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.Ability to develop business relationships and communicate effectively with the user community.Ability to think logically and analytically, and to constructively express ideas and concepts.Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Experience with Windows Desktop Operating SystemsExperience with Windows Server Operating SystemsOutlook Office 365; and Microsoft Teams;Experience with Networking such as VPN, WiFi, Switching, Routing and FirewallsHigh energy and passionate about people.Dedicated to customer service excellence.Prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure.PCL combines numerous pay and benefit strategies to provide a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package.
