We are currently seeking a Capital Projects Consulting Experienced Staff to be part of our growing team. The Capital Projects Consulting Experienced Staff will be expected to perform construction program reviews and cost audits and provide construction best practice consulting advice to clients. This person will continue to develop industry, technical, and customer relations expertise to support delivery of holistic, high-value solutions. They will contribute to the service team by sharing ideas with other staff and support critical reasoning with proper firm, industry, and professional standards. Individuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills - Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus. - -Responsibilities: -Review, analyze, and recommend improvements to construction management processes and internal controls Responsible for construction contract audits, performance compliance audits, and project oversight and monitoring functions for capital projects Provide recommendations including construction management policies and procedures, processes, internal controls, roles and responsibilities, reporting, and supporting information technologyPerform field work, including data collection, analysis, and work paper documentation; prepare, edit, and proofread narrative reports and presentations of observations and recommendations Qualifications: -A minimum of one year of experience in construction management and/or construction advisory services with increasing roles and responsibilities in capital projectsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited college/university; CPA, CIA, CCA, CFE, or PE is preferred Knowledge in various phases of construction including planning, pre-construction services, sourcing and procurement of contracts, contract administration, scheduling, cost estimating, project reporting, and project closeout Field construction experience on different project types and public and/or private clients preferredExcellent written and verbal communication, documentation, records retention and work paper organizational skillsWillingness and ability to travel up to 25% Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureMoss Adams is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
