**Type of Requisition:** Regular**Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:** Top Secret**Job Family:** Information SecurityGDIT is looking to hire Sr. Information Security Analyst (Remote/Telework).This position will support the MSNE Projects. The work includes engineering and technical expertise required to support MSNE projects at different stages of the engineering lifecycle. The individual shall provide lifecycle systems engineering, including technical and management support, requirements identification and documentation, integration and installation, verification and validation, operations and sustainment support, and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT) support. The functional support required will vary with each project as sponsor organizations will have different specific requirements. MSNE projects can range from stand-alone systems to global, integrated communication solutions that combine satellite and terrestrial networks supporting converged voice, video, and data, and may take various forms including portable, mobile, and fixed-site applications.-- This position is not yet funded.-- Majority of the work will be remote / telework, however there will be travel to customer sites from time to time. Estimating travel requirement to be 10 - 20 percent.Sr. Information Security Analyst duties+ Lead a team of Information Security Analysts supporting multiple projects across all phases of the Systems Lifecycle, including Requirements, Design, Development, Test, Certification & Accreditation, Deployment and Operations & Sustainment+ Evaluate firewall change requests and assess organizational risk.+ Communicates alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications and operating systems.+ Lead the selection, configuration and implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls.+ Conducts regular audits to ensure that systems are being operated securely, and information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans.+ Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise antivirus systems and software deployment tools.+ Safeguards the network against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction or disclosure.+ Researches, evaluates, tests, recommends, communicates and implements new security software or devices.+ Conducts investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary to management.+ Researches, evaluates, tests, recommends, communicates and implements new security software or devices.+ Recommends, implements, enforces, communicates and develops security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications and information systems security education/awareness programs.+ Ensures the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies, through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices.+ Performs periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file system and external Web integrity scans to determine compliance.+ Prepares incident reports of analysis methodology and results.+ Ensure compliance with regulations and privacy laws.+ Provides guidance and leadership to less-experienced team members.**Required**+ Master's degree in IT field+ Current DoD Top Secret clearance+ Current Certified Info System Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification+ SME level expertise with Cyber RMF process+ Minimum of ten (10) years of required experience+ At least five (5) years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and accreditation process for Top Secret networks.+ Additionally, at least five (5) years of experience maintaining accreditation documentation.This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by January 18, 2022 or the start date, if after January 18. Individuals who work in or reside in Texas or Montana or work outside of the United States may be excluded from this requirement.We are GDIT.
