Job Description:

DESCRIPTION Microfabrica is looking for a Senior Chemistry Technician to join the Engineering team. This individual will report to the Sustaining Engineer Manager and be a key participant in driving the Company's engineering practices.
ESSENTIAL FUCTIONS OF THE JOB

• Monitor, analyze, and adjust plating bath chemistry
• Prepare and install equipment and plating baths
• Record and maintain analytical results and quality control documents
• Maintain chemicals, tools and equipment necessary to production
• Conduct quality control testing for incoming raw materials
• Keep laboratory area clean and well organized
• Participate in troubleshooting and taskforces as needed
  EDUCATION AND TRAINING
  • A.S or B.S in chemistry or related field and two years' laboratory experience or equivalent
  • One year experience with plating bath chemistry in a manufacturing environment preferred
    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    
    • Chemical analysis experience: Titration, ICP, AA
    • Experience with handling hazardous and reactive chemicals and waste
    • Ability to work with chemicals for plating process
    • Experience with quality and EPA compliance
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and other MS Office applications
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work flexible shifts
      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS One or more years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; however, a recent graduate will be considered
