Qualifications:
We have an immediate contract opening for a Receiving Inspection
CMM Technician in Irvine California. This position is approved for
1 year and could be extended. Our client is a world leading
manufacturer of vision and eye care products.
What You'll Be Doing:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes
and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and
specifications.
Examine items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring
in transit.
Compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement
data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy
of order.
Operate PCDMIS and CALYPSO based CMMs.
Programming experience is a plus.
