Job Description:
Job SummaryDescriptionOur client is looking for a Technical
Support person with Audio/Post Production experience. This is not a
remote position - this role requires you to be onsite.This role
will be responsible for the documentation, configuration,
deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and end-user support of
the of the following:* Live Audio Infrastructure; Mixing Consoles /
Wireless Mics / AV Sync / Speakers and Calibration* Post Audio;
Avid Control Surfaces / Pro Tools / Software plug-ins / Speakers
and Calibration* Understanding and adherence to Dolby, SMPTE, other
professional audio technologies, conventions, and standards *
Facility Infrastructure; DANTE, MADI, AES, and Analog Audio
formats. HD-SDI, 3G, 6G, and 12G Video Formats over COAX and Fiber
transport such as SMPTE 311* Video Routing Infrastructure; SDI /
SMPTE 2110 / Centralized Router* Video Editing Bays; Final Cut Pro
/ X2Pro / Exchange of media between Editorial and Post Audio*
Speaker and Picture Monitor calibrations* Production Storage; SAN /
NAS / DLC / FlexSync* Production Asset Management and Media Asset
Management Systems* Various Servers and corresponding
infrastructure; Racking & moving equipment / adding, labeling &
modifying cabling* Documentation Efforts; AutoCAD / OmniGraffle /
Visio* Other duties as assignedRequirementsIn addition to Audio
Engineer tasks, this role will include System Administration
responsibilities such as:* Software updates and patches* OS
upgrades* Security patches and remediations as determined by
internal IS&T and InfoSec teams* Computer installation,
replacement, troubleshooting and end-user support of the production
systems on a daily basis.Experience Required* Minimum 4 years
experience in a Post Production support role. Production support
experience a plus.* Excellent computer skills and expert level
understanding of Audio as a element through the production, post
production, and consumer consumption process.* Solutions-based,
