Under the direct supervision of the leadership of the lung
Integrated Diagnostics (IDx) and the general supervision of the
IDx Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for managing the
logistical and administrative aspects of the lung IDx
program along with overseeing data management.
Primary job duties include:
Data management comprising chart abstraction,data entry, and data
validation of data elements obtained from the EMR & research
coordination activities that entails screening and enrollment of
participants in the departmental research study.Qualifications

Abilityrnto assist in the preparation of research presentations and
manuscripts ofrnpublishable quality.

knowledge of medicalrnterminology; ability to effectively and
clearly communicate research goals tornfaculty investigators,
research team, support staff, etc.
Demonstratedrnability to interact diplomatically and
sympathetically with a patientrnpopulation in varying degrees of

Abilityrnto work a flexible schedule in order to meet changing
Previousrnexperience in university-wide, state, and federal
regulatory management inrnclinical trials.
Knowledgernof the preparation of research regulatory documents,
informed consents, and IRBrnsubmissions.
Abilityrnto work closely and effectively with a variety of project
personnel under arnhigh level of stress.
Skillrnin using personal computers; working knowledge of word
processing, spreadsheet,rndatabase and presentation programs.
Skillrnin organizing and maintaining accurate, up-to-date files and
records for auditsrnand other follow-up activities.
Experiencernin data management of clinical research protocols,
including the completion ofrncase report forms and other study
Preferred Education or Experience:
ACRPrnor SoCRA ( or equivalent certification ), or
RNrnLicensure, BA, MPH or other equivalent degree, or
professional research orrnanalytical experience; or
an equivalent combination of education andrnexperience.
