DescriptionFull time Chemical Dependency Counselor. Will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor in the Short term Residential Program. Duties include, assessments, facilitation of groups, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention and progress note documentation. Requires completion of an academic addiction studies program, and certification with one of the DHCS-approved state-wide certification entities. A minimum of two years experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements listed above will not be considered.Job Specific Requirements Position RequirementsBilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Clinical background required.
Masters degree in health or human/social services related field.
Completion of Addiction Studies Program and certification with CAADAC, CAADE, or AAHCP.
Current registration or certification as a SUD Counselor.Travel Requirements
