Job Description:
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient engagement and support recovery management
processes
Educate patients on available community resources and facilitate
care transitions
Participate in continuing education and maintain communication with
Care Team members
Required Qualifications
Peer certification in Oregon or Washington State, active and in
good standing
Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support and lived
experience in recovery
Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support
Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
Ability to navigate treatment resources for opioid use disorder
(OUD)
High degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, with a focus on
patient confidentiality
