Responsibilities OBXtek is staffing for Acquisition Specialist SME - Divison Action Group (DAG) (SSC/CGV - GPS) positions for the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Acquisition Support Services contract to support Military Communication (MilComm) & Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) DirectorateThis contract provides the MilComm & PNT Directorate with a broad range of acquisition capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, operations and maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activitiesPosition is contingent upon contract awardThis position interacts with Directorate leadershipThe individual will provide support to Space Force customers in El Segundo, CAKey duties associated with this position include:--- Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution Analyze various phases of the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process as it applies to the administration and management of all programs within the Directorate and provide the Government recommendationsMaintain processes for accurately and thoroughly responding to planning, programming, budgeting, and execution management activities in accordance with official directives, regulations, and guidanceProvide subject matter expertise for Government budgets, foreign military sales funding, other foreign Government funding, and international partner agreementsPerform research, conduct reviews, and provide assessmentssupport the development of the Program Objective Memorandum, Staffer Day preparations, Spring Program Reviews, Investment Budget Review, Program Management Reviews, Mid-year Execution Reviews, Baseline Execution Reviews, Vice-Commander's Forum, Financial Management Reviews, Acquisition Mission Support, Business Management Reviews, and other budget execution activitiesprovide detailed, quantifiable documentation and thorough justification for assessment findings, corrective action plans, and recommendations.--- * Acquisition Reporting Draft program overviews and executive summaries, encapsulate major program issues, gather program contract information, track program milestones and status, generate overviews of program health and ability to execute, assess program cost, schedule, and technical risks by segment and identify mitigation plans, consolidate and status program manager identified cost, schedule, and technical efficiency initiatives, demonstrate understanding of the program's current critical path, integrate and correlate program performance data with the program baseline, accurately interpret acquisition program baseline thresholds and compliance, verify program costs against the approved President's Budget, track program baseline changes, accurately capture high level program logistic, test and evaluation, and requirements readiness characteristics, and establish a program office point of contacts list to accurately develop, maintain, and update acquisition reports to include, but not limited to Weekly Activity Report, Monthly Acquisition Reports, Selected Acquisition Report, Defense Acquisition Executive Summary, Acquisition Program Baseline, supplemental reports for Acquisition Category I, II, III, Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA) programs at the Directorate, and other related acquisition reporting documentsVerify accuracy of the various Government approved systems used to generate acquisition reports and ensure consistency of all data reported to leadershipreport any discrepancy to the Governmentsubmit all draft inputs to the appropriate program office prior to submission to the Director and release to Air Force and Space Force leadership.--- * Communications & Media Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the Directorate, organization, missions, operations, and initiativesDevelop, and check the accuracy of information from a wide range of sources, to include but not limited to the Directorate, 3-letters, and 4-lettersAnalyze and recommend pertinent information;
