Job Description:
Job DescriptionENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and
highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space
Systems Command's MILSATCOM Program through the MILSATCOM Systems
Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract. This position,
located in El Segundo, CA, will support a diverse set of strategic
MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and
collaborative environment. Duties include:--- Provide advice to
Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies,
schedules, contracting, budgeting and execution--- Draft the CCA
Compliance Report IAW latest version of Air Force Manual 33-407,
Air Force Clinger-Cohen Act Compliance Guide.--- Lead and
coordinate all activities in preparing for a successful MS-B
event--- Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate, and execute
periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and
develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program
briefings--- Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program
planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from
DoDI 5000.02 / Acquisition Framework, and relevant DoD, AF, and
local unit policies that pertain to rapid prototyping--- Provide
technical and programmatic assessments of contractor
design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and
the ability to achieve mission requirements--- Provide program
element coordination, staffing and monitoring; advise and assist
government customer regarding funding commitments, obligations, and
expenditures as well as drafting and supporting delivery of program
funding documentation and monthly financial reportsQualifications
Required (Skills)--- BS in technical field, such as engineering,
math, physics, and computer science--- 10+ years of related
experience to include 7+ years' experience in government weapon
systems acquisitions and program management and/or contracts
management within the Department of Defense--- Experience leading
DoD acquisition programs through major milestone decisions to
include Milestone-B--- Demonstrated understanding of DoD
acquisition policies and processes and ability to apply DoD
policies to program plans--- Demonstrated knowledge of the
Clinger-Cohen Act Compliance Guide--- Demonstrated ability to work
effectively with DoD customers--- Strong interpersonal skills,
communication (oral and written), and presentation skills---
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
Powerpoint)--- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret
clearance is required to be considered for this
