Tech II - Computed Tomographic ScannerNorthridge Hospital Medical
Center We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imaging Tech
II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible
for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays,
CT scans, and MRI scans. They will also be responsible for
maintaining equipment and ensuring the safety of patients during
procedures.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for upholding Dignity Health's vision, values and
guiding principles. Responsible for maintaining positivemorale
levels in areas supervised. Communicates in a positive and
effective manner with customers and staff
- Will function as Coordinator in his/her absence.
- Responsible for the routine daily operation of the MRI
department and General Radiology in the absence of
theCoordinator.
- Responsible in assisting in the employee schedule, daily work
assignments, and productivity standards. This alsoincludes
assisting and participating in the call and standby schedule.
- Responsible for assisting departmental cross training MRI and
Radiology, when needed
- Active participation in daily departmental Quality Control and
Process Improvement program.
- Responsible for daily evaluation of equipment and reporting of
repair and maintenance.
- Responsible for assisting in maintenance of radiological
services in accordance with standards established by thedepartment,
state, local and federal standards. This will include safety
program within MRI.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance in license renewal,
continuing education, orientation and re-orientation and
theattainment of all TJC required annual education for all
personne
- Must be certified in at least one specialty other than general
radiology. (The specialties include CT, MRI, NM, U/S,Mammo, RIS and
Angiography) or must have extensive expertise in the specialty for
example the RIS, computerbackground, Network troubleshooting.
Mammography, MQSA / ACR readiness for state compliance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or
requested.Qualifications:
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital and
radiology department required.
- Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological
technology training in an AMA approved school or BS or AA degree in
Radiological Technology in an AMA approved school.
- Cross - training in CT MRI Nuclear Medicine and Mammography
required.
- License is required as issued by ARRT (national)
- CRT (state)
- Fluoroscopy certification.
- Certification in one modality required.
- Must maintain Fire Safety card. This position is represented by
SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the
collective bargaining agreement.
