Job Summary

This position helps qualify applicants for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits within established guidelines. Responsibilities include telephone screening, requesting medical records, completing applications, follow-up with applicants and county workers for successful completion of cases, submitting applications to appropriate offices, and updating information in computer database, and performs miscellaneous related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience; healthcare environment, or any combo of experience, education or training
  • A desire to help others
  • Strong phone skills
  • Basic office skills and computer literacy required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt and manage change in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to type 30 wpm Working Title: Case Manager I

    Pay Rate: $19.25 - $24.50 per hour (Depending on Relevant Experience)
    Position Type: Full-time; Non-exempt
    Schedule: Alternative Work Week Schedule - Mon-Thur 7:30 am-5:00 pm & Fri 7:30 am-12:30 pm
    Other: We conduct assessment testing and post offer background checks
