Job Description

The Bilingual Customer Relations Specialist is on the frontlines representing EDMO on a daily basis. This role is the first and often most constant relationship our families have. They are responsible for providing excellent, heartfelt and genuine customer service to our families through all virtual mediums. This includes but is not limited to phone calls, emails, Live chat systems, intake forms, and video calls. This role will be responsible for managing our Spanish phone line as well as our Spanish email account. They will also assist in translating any family communications and marketing materials.

Customer Relations Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls, emails, instant messages
  • Maintain an upbeat, compassionate and solution oriented voice and presence
  • Strive to create strong connections
  • Assist in responding to company emails within 24 hours and with a friendly voice and content that over-delivers
  • Identify the customer needs and make strong and informed recommendations
  • Translating and editing family communications and marketing materials
    Reports to: Customer Relations Director

    Qualifications
    • Fully Bilingual in Spanish (can speak fluently and write fluently)
    • Experience in a customer service/ public facing position
    • Poised, well spoken, professional, friendly and compassionate demeanor
    • Experience managing a high volume of multiple communication platforms.
    • High comfort level working with Multi-line phone systems, spreadsheets, database updates, and sending professional emails
    • Interest in mission-driven, social-impact, non-profit and education sector
    • Strong comfortability working with Mac and PC platforms
    • Excels in a fast paced and remote office environment
    • Organized and detailed oriented

      Additional Information

      This is a remote position

      Salary: $20/hr

      Hours: Starting at 20 hours a week (this may increase if the need arises)

      Start Date: End of January
