  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in technology sales, digital marketing, consulting or media.
  • Experience in leadership/people management.
    Preferred qualifications:
    • Experience in the auto or digital marketing/advertising industries.
    • Experience with multi-stakeholder engagement, including executive or c-level customers.
    • Experience building bridges cross-functionally to align and execute on common goals, and deliver results in a matrix organization.
    • Experience leading, developing, and mentoring teams to deliver results.
    • Knowledge of Google advertising solutions, performance, or brand marketing and its relevant digital media solutions.
    • Understanding of media and advertising measurement, attribution, and incrementality solutions and frameworks.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.As the Head of Industry, you will lead and coach teams that use consultative business skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions. You will work with the Sales Leadership team to set goals and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Additionally, you will help teams deliver on goals and partner directly with customers to exceed business and growth goals across markets and verticals.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $173,000-$259,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

      • Manage the core business team and engage with the cross-functional talent to deliver insights, ideas, and customer service that drives business growth for our clients and for Google.
      • Develop and foster C-level relationships across the business.
      • Analyze data trends and client performance, develop strategic plans, and lead preparation and delivery of strategic presentations and narratives.
      • Partner with leaders of other teams to develop thought leadership that equips teams across Large Customer Sales to deliver excellent business growth.
      • Attract, develop, and retain talent in all roles across the team.
