we are seeking:A high-performing finance professional with recent
experience in management consulting or in the consulting groups of
the Big4 who have strong financial modeling skills (3-statement
models, detailed P&L and balance sheet operating models,
granular revenue forecasting, etc.). Description:The Associate,
Special Projects is a new role being created at Palm Tree to help
executive leadership institutionalize and position the firm for its
next phase of growth (doubling two more times in the next three
years). The firm significantly values its culture and prefers to
have its own team grow into senior roles. As such, this position
has the potential to grow into a senior operational role within the
organization. The Associate will report to the President and will
work directly with the President, the Board, the Management
Committee, and other Senior Leaders within the organization. The
role will encompass strategic, financial, operational, and general
functions, and can grow into a Vice President, Internal
Transformation role. Responsibilities & Duties:Support strategy,
scope, goals, and deliverables that drive operational
transformation and scale-up. Develop scalable and impactful
solutions to complex, ambiguous, and high-visibility business
challenges.Collaborate with Senior Leadership to determine and
prioritize operational inefficiencies and strategic solutions; then
execute.Act as project management lead for assigned
initiatives.Create visually compelling presentations as needed for
meetings.Work on a consistently revolving set of high impact
priorities and projects.Conduct and document all weekly
meetings.Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and
documentation.Assists in or may be responsible for project
scheduling and project decisions based upon firms objectives.Create
and support adoption of KPIs to assess performance, operational
effectiveness, and ROI of strategic projects.Analyze financial
statement data and prepared budgets for planning and decision
making.Document and analyze information and processes to solve
critical business issues.Build internal and external business
relationships vital to the success of operations.Assist rolling out
new projects/initiatives. Desired Attributes:The ideal candidate
will possess a detail-oriented, can-do attitude and have excellent
project management and execution skills.2-3 years of professional
experience working within a consulting firm.Strong written and
verbal communication skills, ability to quickly understand complex
subject matter, and great attention to detail.Excellent
problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex issues
into structured frameworks and action plans.Entrepreneurial with a
high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity. Additional qualities
