SUMMARY
Pluto TVs Product Design team is currently looking for a Product
Designer to join us. This role will build and refine several
product features that will attract and engage new and existing
users across a variety of platforms and devices such as connected
TV apps, mobile apps, and web. This role will also work closely
with developers who are working across the Android platform
ecosystem. The contribution will help create experiences that
entertain the planet. Does this sound like you? The role will
report to a Sr. Product Designer! -This is a meaningful role with a
wide range of responsibilities such as:
- Creating high fidelity screens and components, and contributing
to our design system.
- Constructing feature solutions with a high level of detail
towards padding, grid layout, color, and typography, and
prioritized using Figma's libraries, components, and auto- layout
properties.
- Using hard-won user experience insights from research
(qualitative and quantitative) to inform design decisions.
- Communicating to product designers, product managers,
developers, and other partners by creating and updating diagrams,
user journeys, and well-written annotations and documentation.
- Contributing to Agile team ceremonies, experience improvement
exercises, and cross-team collaborative workshops.
- Anticipating limitations and augmentations needed for
accessibility and international audiences.We believe these are the
key requirements to be successful:
- Over one year of experience working within a product design
team, preferably in an Agile environment.
- Exceptional examples of using Figma to prioritize comps, user
flows and diagrams, and annotations into one file as a key
reference document.
- Familiarity with Figma's prototyping tool to articulate micro
interactions and navigation through a user flow.
- Familiarity with UX design terminologies to discuss design
work, both verbally and in written documentation.
- Experience working within design teams and contributing to a
shared design system.
- Experience planning and implementing usability tests and
sharing research insights out to collaborators.
