Job DescriptionOmelet, an award-winning, independent creative agency with a growing and exciting client roster, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated, multidisciplinary Strategist for its Culver City headquarters location (currently temporarily remote). You are a strategist who is passionate, resourceful, and isn't afraid to get your hands dirty. Above all, youre highly collaborative and delight in finding new ways to effectively communicate stories across various platforms. As a strategist at Omelet, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple brands, playing a pivotal role as the foundation of the strategy team that works to unearth and tell the stories of our clients. Although we are currently temporarily remote, candidates must be based in Los Angeles in the long term. General Job ResponsibilitiesYou will work across a variety of clients to discover their brand, market proposition, and key offerings, resulting in digital, social, and integrated campaigns. Key responsibilities include developing an understanding of each clients business and the dynamics of who they are through research, intelligence, and market evaluations. You will write surveys, conduct consumer interviews, and use analytical data tools to extract insights for briefs, presentations, and pitches. You will act as the lead on writing briefs for smaller projects and assignments while collaborating with colleagues to solve acute client needs.Requirements

  • Has 2-4 years of strategy planning experience at an agency and/or working with developing insights and driving big ideas for clients across a variety of platforms
  • Has experience conducting and writing brand and consumer research including briefs, surveys, and presentations
  • Is familiar with databases and sources for trend and insight gathering
  • Has experience using research tools including but not limited to; social listening platforms such as Netbase, Crimson Hexagon, and/or Simmons/MRI for audience research
  • Are aware of your strengths as a strategist - be it brand, digital, and/or social, and how to leverage those strengths to deliver quality thinking and outputs
  • Is a student of trends and attuned to new thinking and opportunities offered by technology, social and digital platforms, and other non-conventional media
  • Is relationship oriented, collaborating well with team members and client partners to execute internal projects and client deliverables with excellence
  • Is comfortable presenting to anyone, and is actively training their listening skills and practicing self-awareness in front of clients and internal teams
  • Is a self-starter who is willing to take the reins on projects and help out wherever the department needs are.
  • Follows industry trends, and is effective leading POV development and applying the learning to our clients business.
  • A true multitasker - you can manage and prioritize multiple work streams
