Job Description

The Opportunity:

The Digital Engagement Group (DEG) is seeking a Sr Coordinator, Digital Partnerships to develop and manage new business partnerships that supports all digital marketing efforts across cross functional departments at Mattel. This will include managing the RFP process for team members within DEG and stakeholders across the company (e.g. - IT, Procurement, Legal/Compliance, eComm, Brand, Retailer Marketing, Media, PR, and external agencies and partners). This person will utilize key learnings from global digital marketing campaigns for Mattel's brands (including Fisher Price, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Master of the Universe, Thomas & Friends, and Mattel Games) to inform relevant business needs.

What Your Impact Will Be

The role will leverage the business and marketing strategies of the Comms planning, Social, Influencer and YouTube team within DEG to identify gaps and ultimately deliver opportunities to maximize brand revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate inbound and outbound leads of new business partners in the digital media landscape that support direct DEG business requirements
  • Supporting the RFP process externally and internally with the aid of cross functional teams
  • Increase efficiency by helping manage the vendor onboarding and oversight processes
  • Track and manage Legal and contract process for new and returning vendors
  • Maintain vendor pipeline while sourcing/tracking budgets and internal finances understand financial, org budget, work in excel, support Brandon
  • Schedule and lead capability meetings with vendors
  • Explore and research the market in order to develop and build a pipeline while playing a key role in operationalizing the work streams into DEG.
  • Aid the team to formulate brand expansion opportunities including new market entry and distribution channels. Innovation to bring to Mattel
  • Support in creating presentation materials for exec leadership meetings
  • Develop overall views of the marketplace and key opportunities/issues by analyzing consolidated research data

    What Were Looking For:

    Basic Qualifications
    • Understanding of the digital landscape
    • Working knowledge of best practices and workflows for digital marketing channels (web, social, mobile, media, CRM, etc.) and digital content/asset creation
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead through influence and collaboration
    • Ability to facilitate meetings and groups of people to come to consensus on a solution and move forward
    • Highly organized, positive thinking, self-starter; must be willing to jump in and get the job done
    • Experience following processes/workflows within a complex organization
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment
    • Ability to parcel and delegate different projects and tracks to team members
    • Superior communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally at all organizational levels and externally with business associates, including exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills
      Preferred Qualifications
      • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Project Management, Partnerships or Business Development.
