POSITION SUMMARY:IW Group is searching for thinkers, dreamers, and innovators who are passionate about uplifting multicultural communities. We value fearless team members who have some knowledge of the growing multicultural communities and have the ability to adapt quickly to an energetic agency environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Publicity/Influencer Relations/Activations:

  • Create and implement 360 campaign experiences that exceed client goals
  • Craft meaningful experiences that exist both in physical and virtual environments
  • Develop authentic relationships with VIPs and influencers
  • Manage VIP, influencer, and press invitations and guestlists
  • Explore trends and technologies that better our knowledge of culture and industry
  • Foster creative that engages intersectional communities (Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Asian American, Pacific Islander, LGBTQ+, and more)
  • Set specific objectives and report on KPIs
  • Serve as the main point of contact for multiple clientsOTHER FUNCTIONS:
    • Bring energy and excitement to team brainstorms
    • Support new business opportunities and present with passion
    • Challenge the team with new ideas and stand up for beliefs
    • Engage in professional and community organizations related to the agency and clients business/industry
      MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education:
      • Bachelors or vocational degree from a fully accredited college or university
      • Minimum of 1-2 years professional work experience
      • Relevant experience in a public-facing capacity such as sales, marketing, public relations, communications, event planning/management, community relations, corporate relations, advertising, or a related field.
      • Knowledge of media and social influencer relations is highly preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
        • Has excellent client relations, shows empathy, and values authentic relationships
        • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and editing)
        • Must possess good organizational skills, demonstrate initiative, flexibility, sound judgment, and a positive attitude
        • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage several deadlines
        • Passion for understanding and supporting multicultural communities or has the capacity to learn quickly
        • Asian American community knowledge and experience are highly preferred
        • Proficiency in basic software (i.e., MS Office) and social media platforms
        • Commitment to producing the best work possible (aka willing to work long hours when necessary)
        • Must be willing and able to travel

            SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Setting clear objectives for team members. Overseeing workflow and monitoring productivity. Providing guidance and support through coaching. Resolving issues within the team or on an individual basis offering constructive feedback as needed. Foster knowledge-sharing across all disciplines to ensure collaborative and informed work.

              HYBRID WORK MODEL:
              • IW Group has adopted a hybrid work model. Teams set their own in-office schedule but are requested to work in-office at least twice per week. This is subject to change due to Covid-19 or other stringent circumstances.
              • While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee will spend most of the time working indoors, in the IW Group office, client office, or other identified location.
              • This role may require extended work hours (including weekends) to complete certain projects, with or without advance notice.
              • This role may require work outside of the office (i.e., client events) or travel outside of the local work area (i.e., national or international client locations).
