We're opening doors to promising roles and career paths for candidates in many geographical markets across the United States with numerous behavioral healthcare organizations.
A reputable treatment center with multiple facilities is seeking a business development representative in the Los Angeles or surrounding area. The ideal candidate will have the versatility to cold call into new relationships as well as maintain and cultivate existing relationships. Candidate will have familiarity with establishing relationships with hospitals and be comfortable speaking with medical doctors, psychiatrists and therapists in a clinical sales process, as well as Employee Assistance Programs, other treatment providers, and interventionists. Candidate will have an ability to identify market opportunities while developing, planning, implementing, and following through with action plans to grow admissions and the overall brand of the treatment center.
The candidate should be flexible in their ability to adapt the territory plan to fit the needs of the geographic market and overall landscape of the behavioral healthcare industry. Candidate will exercise professionalism in a manner that reflects a positive image for the treatment center as well as the individual candidate, by exhibiting ethics, attention to detail, availability, dependability and a heart of service for those in need of recovery from addiction.
Job DescriptionCandidates will have:


  • Experience in an outside sales/business development position in the addiction/mental health recovery industry.
  • Versatility to cold call into new relationships as well as maintain and cultivate existing relationships.
  • Familiarity with establishing relationships and be comfortable speaking with hospitals, medical doctors, psychiatrists, interventionists, Employee Assistance Programs, other treatment centers and therapists in a clinical sales process.
  • Experience in identifying market opportunities while developing, planning, implementing and following through with action plans to grow admissions and the overall brand of the treatment center.
  • Flexibility in their ability to adapt the territory plan to fit the needs of the geographic market and overall landscape of the behavioral healthcare industry.
  • Ability to exercise professionalism in a manner that reflects a positive image for the treatment center, as well as the individual candidate, by exhibiting ethics, attention to detail, availability, dependability and a heart of service for those in need of recovery from addiction and mental health disorders.
    Principal Responsibilities

    • Observe and identify market opportunities and challenges.
    • Develop, plan, implement and follow through with action plans to positively influence opportunities and challenges in candidate's geographic area and broader behavioral healthcare landscape.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for admissions and leads into the treatment center.
    • Travel to the treatment center for training, tours, periodic meetings and events as needed.
    • Represent the treatment center at local, regional and national events (conferences, trade shows, lunches, dinners and other events) as needed.
      Qualifications/Experience

      • Minimum 2 years of business development experience in behavioral healthcare or healthcare industry.
      • Understanding of addiction, recovery, mental health disorders and issues impacting behavioral healthcare industry.
      • Degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
