In this newly created position, the Product Marketing Manager,
MarTech will work at the intersection of digital marketing and
technology. The manager will be the product marketing lead and
serve as the subject matter expert on capabilities of marketing
technology platforms and services (including Iterable, Branch,
Amplitude and mParticle). They will be responsible for digital
campaign operations and capabilities, working alongside both the
product and technology teams to define requirements, launch and
maintain martech platform capabilities across a variety of NBCU
networks (NBC, Bravo, Oxygen, E!, USA, SyFy, Telemundo). This
includes ensuring the martech platform is built and maintained to
support existing and future marketing use cases. The ideal
candidate will be data-driven with a growth mindset and will be
comfortable in an A/B testing environment. This is a highly
cross-functional role and will require the consummate team player
to be successful.
Become subject matter expert on capabilities of marketing
technology platforms and tools, including Iterable, Branch
Amplitude, mParticle and in-house functions
Partner with brand product teams in documenting, developing, and
releasing requested martech functionality
Point of contact for MMP vendor (Branch), attending weekly meetings
and assisting in development of quarterly business review
Lead proofs of concept for any new capabilities made available by
marketing technology platforms
Create and manage product marketing capabilities roadmap in
partnership with the NBC and brand product teams and marketing
Ensure that core platform capabilities are functional and when not,
tracking bug fixes/known issues, prioritizing with internal product
teams and platform vendors for resolution
Communicate feature changes, bug fixes, and workaround solutions to
relevant parties including product marketing managers and agency
Shephard operational resources to transition to new functionality
and ensure new launches satisfy marketing requirements (including
confirming new releases)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, operations or
Minimum 2+ years of management experience
Previous experience working in a performance marketing, direct
response marketing, sales environment
Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Must have demonstrated experience with partnering with technology
teams to support marketing initiatives or functionality.
Digital marketing or digital marketing operations experience
Flexibility and an ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven
Data driven-thinker who uses insights and analysis to guide
strategies and make decisions.
Self-starter who can work independently, is proactive, resourceful
and possess good follow-through.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical, and project
management skills required.
Experience with Iterable, Branch and/or JIRA
