Position Summary:

The National Account Executive is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. As a National account manager, you should be organized and able to analyze performance metrics. The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company's solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, pre-qualify, sell and service large corporate, regional and franchise accounts
  • Create professional proposals, correspondence, presentations and reports
  • Develop actionable recommendations in response to client needs across Clipper's product portfolio
  • Develop, organize and maintain special programs for franchise companies, business categories

Education & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 5 years advertising experience
  • Minimum annual sales of $800K or higher
  • Total number of active accounts: 30+
  • Minimum number of new accounts annually - 15 to 20

Experience / Skills / Abilities:

  • Superior presentation skills
  • Strong organization and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze data and develop insightful, relevant solutions to client needs
  • Responsible, goal-driven attitude
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self motivated

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • None

Communication & Contacts (Internal/External):

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to potential and existing customers

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Valid state issued driver's license
  • Home Office environment. Must reside on the West Coast.
