Production Operations is a division of Programming and
Production and consists of several groups: Network Control, PCR,
Studio, and Edit. Production Operations employees are responsible
for the operational positions such as camera, video shading,
editing, master control, technical directing, audio and media
functions that support domestic and international studio and event
programming and network operations.
The Coordinating Studio Operator must have exceptional
operational skills and comprehensive knowledge in the use of all
broadcast equipment and technology within assigned operating areas,
including but not limited to; camera jib systems, camera
stabilization systems, high definition studio cameras, pedestals
and lenses, camera control units, color correction, studio routing
and patching, server based playback devices, studio lighting, PC
and console based lighting boards, robotic camera operation,
virtual technology, and developed studio awareness and

and subsequent workflows for assigned areas. Make recommendations,
as necessary, to change and/or enhance departmental SOPs and other

accurate and efficient results in specific assignments or future
- Expected to document and/or file reports, as necessary, on
specific working conditions, equipment status and personal
development at the request of management.
- Significant ability to identify problems, recommend solutions
and/or resolve operational errors and equipment failures.
- Any other duties needed to help achieve Business
- A minimum of 6 years practical Television Production or related
experience at the large market or network level.
- Vocational School Certification.
- Related applicable broadcast industry experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree. In Communications, Studio Production,
Journalism or related field.
