Cetera Advisor Networks is currently seeking an entry-level Internal Growth Specialist ("IGS"). With our Growth Officers, the Internal Growth Specialist is one of the primary contacts for our advisors providing them world-class sales support and training to make them successful in his/her assigned territory. This is an exciting role and offers an opportunity to work in an interactive team setting providing support for our regions and their network of advisors. What you will do:

• Provide sales support and training to 10-15 regions and their advisors
• Provide support for a national network of over 2500 advisors.
• Meet company territorial and national activity and sales goals
• Collectively manage and foster relationships with our advisors understanding each unique background and how to gain their trust.
• In collaboration with the Growth Officer, assist in developing a business plan to make each rep more successful and promote sales prospects, products and services.
• Be alert to compliance issues and assist in reminder calls related to advisor licensing.
• Build sales skills through meetings with advisors and clients via Zoom calls and over the phone.
• Conduct training meetings to promote sales activity via teleconferencing and live meetings in the field.
• Conduct call campaigns around specific initiatives within Cetera Advisor Networks.
  What you need to have:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Marketing or another relevant field. *Prior work experience will be considered as an alternative
  • 1+ year of professional work experience
  • Basic knowledge of the functions of a broker-dealer
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and extremely comfortable communicating and coaching advisors through sales processes over the phone and in-person
  • Goal-orientated individual, who has the drive to achieve sales goals and challenges
  • Comfortable working in a team setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office tools and working with various database systems

    • Product knowledge relevant to mutual funds, fixed and variable annuities, and underwritten insurance products.
    • FINRA Series 7 and 63, 65 or 66
    • Experience in fee-based managed money products
    • Excellent writing skills
