Job Title: Security Dispatcher
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Environment: Regional Command Center-Security Services
Hourly Pay Rate: $16.50/hr

General Job Functions: Under direct supervision of the National Command Center Manager, Schedulers are responsible for scheduling officers as appropriate using web-based applications and software, coordinating response to alarms and to monitor cameras and other systems during their assigned shift.

Shift & Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities specific to this position include, but are not limited to:

Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules. Schedule or dispatch employees, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using applications or telephones. Oversee all communications within company service territories. Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from security officer, supervisors, clients, or administrative staff using telephones, email, or applications. Create SIR (Serious Incident Reports) via report application. Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment. Prepare, manage, and modify daily/weekly schedules via the utilities application. Manage alarm response and ATM patrol services. Manage emergency response incidents. Communicate with field staff via phone (radio checks). Record and maintain logs or records of customer requests, work or services performed, schedule changes, or other dispatch information. Receive or prepare work orders. Assist with coordinating employee supplies or equipment and issue them to personnel. Manage security officer schedules and communications between home office and field staff Handle security officer check-ins, emergency call offs, cancellations and schedule changes Provide professional customer service to clients over phone and email Reconciling of schedules via WinTeam and TrackTik for payroll purposes. General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide excellent customer service to our clientsObserve, survey, and report activities at the assigned siteRespond quickly to critical situationsAbility to read and write detailed reportsEnforce client procedures, regulations, and standardsQUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this position include, but are not limited to:
Valid CA Guard Card plus 40 hours BSIS training certificates preferred but not requiredSecurity experience required - dispatch or call center experience preferred but not requiredType a minimum of 50 WPMGood communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAt least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirementsGeneral Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:
Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)Pass an extensive screening processSecurity, Military, Law Enforcement Experience PreferredQualificationsEducation
