for someone to join our team as a Simulation Center Coordinator
who: Assists with the implementation of simulation activities in
the training of healthcare professionals. Manages daily operations
such as equipment and supply inventory, and coordinates the
training of staff, physicians, and other customers on the use of
simulation equipment and principles of simulation learning.
Facilitates community partnerships and the integration of
inter-professional simulation activities. Ensures the collection of
data and analysis to evaluate utilization of resources and student
learning outcomes and assists with other special projects or
initiatives in the use of various simulation modalities. Reaches
out to community partners and develops income generating projects
as part of the business development initiative of the Simulation
Center. Supervises technicians within the simulation department.
- Aligns education efforts and resources between departments and
units within the medical center, and tracks how simulation efforts
relate to organizational goals and quality improvement measures.
Collaborates with faculty, educators, and other stakeholders on
needs and competency assessments, curriculum design, and
development and delivery of simulation activities.
- Assists in development, implementation and enforcement of the
Simulation Center's safety policies and procedures, and practice
standards consistent with the organization's educational
- Coordinates the operational activities of the Simulation Center
to include scheduling, documentation, record keeping, data
management, and other organizational activities.
- Assists in the review of operation and capital budget
- Identifies and implements opportunities for improvement and
innovation in curriculum, instructional technologies, and
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned. You'll be
successful with the following qualifications: Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of
education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred Work Experience:
- Five years healthcare experience: Preferred Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Required Adventist Health is
