Job Description:

ResponsibilitiesAs a Credentialing Specialist, you will facilitate the credentialing of physicians and practitioners, including new appointment applications and reappointment applications. You will coordinate the completion of applications with physicians and liaison with administrators to ensure timely processing. You will also:* Monitor and track expiring medical licenses, DEA and radiography/fluoroscopy licenses* Maintain credentialing database* Serve as delegate for physician/practitioner applications and notifications* Review applications for completeness/accuracy* Track status of new and reappointment applications and provisional status requirementsQualificationsWe're seeking an independent, detail-oriented team player with:* Experience in physician credentialing preferred* Experience in credentialing software such as MSOW, Echo One App (EOA), and MDStaff, preferred* Demonstrated communication skills to obtain and convey information clearly, accurately and in a timely manner* Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational abilities* Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive documents and files* Skill in operating PC hardware* PC proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe* Flexibility to work varied schedules (including occasional overtime)UCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
