Note - Pay Rate for this Job is $15/Hour
Performs duties such as, processing incoming and outgoing stock,
parts, materials, Pull Orders per router. In addition, assembles,
repairs, identifies and test subassemblies and complete assemblies.
Takes physical inventory, including assembles and location audits,
Receives, stores, handles, locates, issues, delivers, weighs,
measures, counts, identifies, marks and records all types of rough,
semi-finished and finished parts, assemblies, materials, supplies,
bar stock and castings, per drawings, routers, purchase orders and
computer printouts utilizing a computerized system
Reads work orders, routers, drawing instructions to assemble
detailed mechanical parts into subassemblies or completed units to
ensure their completeness. Parts to be assembled and disassembled
include, housings, nuts, bolts, springs, lock washers, lock pins,
diaphragms, latches, cotter pins, and other miscellaneous parts.
Assembly operations include, installing screws, gluing,
lubricating, pressing, forming, riveting and other miscellaneous
Receives all incoming materials, verifies with purchase order or
packing list, checks sizes, weighs, counts and inspects for defects
and damage, reports discrepancies, distributes to proper locations
Immediately reports to management when not making job
Keeps daily production performance records including set-up time,
run-time and quantity.
Moves parts and material within and between departments and storage
facilities. Maintains related records and files. Keeps work area
clean and orderly Complies with all safety requirements and
Ability to read and follow detailed verbal and written work
instructions, including but not limited to blueprints.
Performs all tasks in a timely, safe and accurate manner to avoid
delays in operations.
Pull orders, cut material to length per router and blueprint
instructions and ensures completeness on orders and quantities in
inventory. Takes physical inventory, including assemblies and
location audits, as required.
Operate various equipment such as, rivet, saw, and basic forming,
stamping and press equipment as required. Uses hand and power tools
and measuring instruments to discover and repair equipment and
assemblies. operates air, water equipment to pressure test. Must be
able to programs profiles onto the laser and inkjet machine to
identified product and operates the equipment. Must be able to use
and read calipers, height gages and measuring instruments to
evaluate and meet drawing requirements for product
Language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
skills, and legible penmanship. Ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine
reports and correspondence.
Mathematical skills - ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio,
percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning ability - ability to solve practical problems and deal
with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule
