Perform Frontline Underwriting on conventional Mortgage loans.
Review and clear stipulations/conditions on loans underwritten.
Interact with clients to ensure quality service and on-time
delivery of work product. Be up to date with FANNIE MAE, FREDDIE
MAC guidelines, LQI, Dodd-Frank, TRID, and other necessary
requirements and changes in states and federal regulations, as well
as regulatory and investor requirements related to

Perform timely initial loan submissions and subsequent loan
conditions. Average 3-4 new underwrites and conditions in a
Analyze loan documents (Income, Credit, Asset,
Appraisal/Collateral Reports, Disclosures, Title Reports, Insurance
Documents, Fraud Prevention Tools/Products, Purchase Contract, and
any loan documentation in the loan approval process) for accuracy
and completeness to deliver a valid credit decision
Reconcile loan documents/data in client loan origination systems
and Stonehill proprietary system for accuracy, completeness,
ensuring all required documents and conditions are received
Review and clear stipulations/conditions on loans
Communicate directly with clients or affiliates to understand
and clear stipulations/conditions
Responsible for providing documentation and/or rebuttals to
investors for any repurchase issues on client files
Assure compliance with policies and procedures outlined in the
investor guides, contractual obligations, as well as state and
federal regulations and regulatory requirements
Maintain current knowledge of all conventional underwriting
guidelines for agencies, private investors/portfolio guidelines,
and current appraisal independence standards (HVCC/Dodd-Frank)
Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner and as directed
Maintain company turn time expectations for completion and
Handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads
Conduct all activities in a professional manner

Required Minimum Qualifications:
5 years of conventional Mortgage Frontline Underwriting
DE, SAR/LAPP and/or NMLS certification preferred
Proficient in loan origination systems Encompass, Calyx Point,
High level of proficiency with AUS systems (DU and LP)
Previous experience and knowledge of commonly-used concepts,
practices and procedures within mortgage lending
Intermediate level user of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
College Degree or equivalent work-related experience, and High
School Diploma or equivalency required
