Job Description Job Description Position Summary We are seeking
a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Clerk to support
end-to-end supply chain operations within a regulated
biopharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have prior
experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences
industry and a strong understanding of GMP/GDP requirements,
inventory control, and ERP systems. This role is critical to
ensuring accurate documentation, timely material movement, and
compliance with regulatory standards while supporting production
and distribution activities. Key Responsibilities Inventory &
Materials Management Process and monitor purchase orders, material
receipts, and inventory transactions in ERP systems (e.g., SAP,
Oracle). Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials,
APIs, packaging components, and finished goods. Perform cycle
counts and support periodic physical inventory audits. Coordinate
material issuance to manufacturing in alignment with production
schedules. Ensure proper material storage and labeling in
compliance with GMP/GDP standards. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate supply chain documentation, including
batch-related material records. Review shipping and receiving
documents for completeness and regulatory compliance. Support
deviation investigations related to inventory discrepancies. Ensure
adherence to internal SOPs and regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA,
ICH). Shipping & Logistics Coordination Coordinate inbound and
outbound shipments, including temperature-controlled materials.
Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, export
documents). Liaise with freight carriers and logistics providers.
Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve
discrepancies. ERP & Data Management Enter and validate supply
chain data in ERP systems. Generate inventory and supply chain
reports as required. Support demand planning and material
requirement planning (MRP) processes. Maintain vendor and material
master data accuracy. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely
with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Warehouse
teams. Support internal and external audits. Participate in
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain
efficiency. Qualifications Required Associate’s or Bachelor’s
degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related
field. 2 years of experience in supply chain operations within a
biopharma, pharmaceutical, or life sciences company. Working
knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance standards.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred). Strong attention to
detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
and inventory reporting tools. Preferred Experience handling
temperature-sensitive or controlled substances. Knowledge of cold
chain logistics. APICS/ASCM certification (e.g., CPIM) is a plus.
Experience supporting FDA-inspected environments.
