• Handle a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.
• Provide legal representation for clients in hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in dispute resolution proceedings.
• Advise and counsel clients on their legal rights and obligations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California workers' compensation laws, employment laws, and personal injury laws.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the legal team to develop strategies for case management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and court staff.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.Job Details
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Attorney.
  • Proven experience in litigation, specifically in workers' compensation cases and personal injury cases.
  • Excellent knowledge of California Workers' Compensation laws, employment laws, and personal injury laws.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and litigation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
