Job Description:

Essential Functions:

• Partners with stakeholders to build multi-year technology vision, strategy, and roadmaps for enterprise systems.
• Oversees the overall development life cycle of solutions and manages complex projects with significant bottom line impact.
• Partners with project stakeholders to translate internal and external customer and market requirements into system, product, and technology roadmaps.
• Monitors and controls project progress to ensure sound application of engineering principles and achievement of design intent.
• Develops KPIs and manages performance against them; reviews operational metrics to identify areas of improvement supporting sustainable quality software delivery.
• Supports change management processes related to software releases, application patching, and production configuration changes.
• Drives the development lifecycle from requirements analysis through to support, including design, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Ensures the quality of software code delivered aligns with business requirements; identifies and mitigates bottlenecks and bugs.
• Defines and improves software development standards, tooling, and best practices to meet business goals.
• Enhances software performance, scalability, and security.
• Fosters a culture of learning and sharing technology insights across the organization.
• Manages department expenses and budget planning.
• Leads and supports the Software Development and QA teams in problem solving, decision making, and professional growth.
• Establishes department and team goals aligned with company vision; ensures understanding of performance standards.
• Serves as a coach and mentor to staff, promoting problem solving, decision-making, process improvement, and growth.
• Coordinates with Human Resources on employee relations matters.
• Encourages career training and development to support skills and knowledge acquisition.
• Promotes a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Performs other duties and projects as needed per management's direction.Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical field required.
  • Minimum twelve (12) years of relevant software development experience required.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of leadership experience required.
  • Knowledge of development tools: .NET, NodeJS, React, React Native, Angular.
  • Strong background in Mathematics, Computational Geometry, or Computer Graphics required.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as ERP and CRM preferred.
  • Experience managing distributed software development teams across different countries.Pay Range: $177,000.00 - $230,000.00/YR; DOE
