We are currently seeking a Windows Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi-disciplined environment. The Systems Administrator is required to have an active secret security clearance as they will be responsible for deploying and maintaining classified IT infrastructures.

• *This position is onsite in El Segundo, CA**
• What YOU will do:*
• You will provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows (Primary OS) and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
• You will have an understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and Linux integration methods.
• You will be working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.--- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
• You will understand data RAID; data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• What YOU will Learn:*
• You will foster relationships with your DT peers all over the world that work and WANT to work at Collins.
• You will learn how to work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Qualifications you must have:*
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience *or *an Advanced Degree in a related field *or* in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• You must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date.
• Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities.
• Must have experience with Windows and Linux/Unix server and workstations.
• Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with Windows architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products.
• Experience with application installation and multi-server environment/deployment.
• Skills We Value:*
• Experience with NetApp.
• Scripting Experience (PowerShell, Ansible, Python)
• Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
• Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
• Critical thinking - ability to solve technical problems independently and with collaborative teams

        The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
