Lecturer of Electrical and Computer Engineering University Of

Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
(https://minghsiehece.usc.edu/ ) at the USC Viterbi School of
Engineering (https://viterbischool.usc.edu/ ) seeks outstanding
faculty candidates for full time, non-tenure track, benefits
eligible teaching positions. Candidates should have the experience
and knowledge necessary to teach undergraduate and graduate courses
in one of the following fields: (i) Computer Engineering -
including topics such as VLSI design, embedded systems, cloud and
data center architectures, design of application specific
architectures and systems such as GPUs, hardware for machine
learning, and beyond-CMOS devices such as quantum and
superconducting systems; and (ii) Systems Engineering - including
topics such as pattern recognition and machine learning,
probability and random variables, linear algebra, numerical
optimization, and applications in signal and image processing,
communications, and control.Candidates should be strongly committed
to teaching and mentoring. In addition to classroom instruction,
teaching faculty are expected to be actively involved in innovation
and development of curriculum and pedagogical methods of
instruction. Other duties include engaging in service to students,
the department, and the university. Candidates with interests in
teaching of lab classes, supervision of capstone design projects,
and industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply. We are
seeking candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching and

equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related

Practice, and Professor of ECE Practice.The anticipated start date
is January 1, 2024. Applicants must include a cover letter
describing your background, area(s) of specialization and teaching
experience, a detailed curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, and
contact information for four professional references, at least two
of whom must be familiar with and able to comment on the
candidate's teaching experience. Applicants may optionally also

base salary range for the following faculty ranks in this posting
are:Associate Professor of Engineering Practice: $120,000.00 -
$150,000.00Professor of Engineering Practice: $140,500.00 -
