Senior System Administrator University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: 38188 Salary: $7,492 - $18,058 monthly Position Description: UCLA Facilities Management IT (FMIT) is seeking a detail-oriented self-starter with a strong technical background and proficiency in data integration, data warehousing and application development to join our team. The FMIT group manages Facilities Service Requests, Billing on the Web, MAXIMO Work Management, Kronos Time and Attendance, ArcGIS and backend middleware software use to interface with human resource databases, payroll systems, directory, dashboards and reports applications. The incumbent will support upcoming implementation of new ERP financial system requirements (Bruin Business Model); refining existing accounting, reporting and budgeting processes to align with the new COA structure and new Campus systems to Oracle Cloud/JAGGAER. These systems and applications among others are critical to the business operations and offerings to Facilities Management and the campus community. The incumbent provides specialized, professional level support in areas of advanced complexity such as system analysis and design techniques to produce innovative solutions addressing complex business objectives. Gathers information, defines work requirements and plans and implements projects. Writes, tests, and troubleshoots code of advanced complexity. Serves as technical resource on maintaining established applications, and assist with programming on implementations and operational support. Additional responsibilities include conducting research of emerging technologies and industry practices; making recommendations regarding best practices and technologies for adoption, and providing input to continual improvement activities for assigned projects. The incumbent also collaborates with product owners, business analysts and subject matter experts to develop business and functional requirements and propose application solutions.
