Title: Software Developer Location: 100% remote (company is based in Los Angeles, CA) Duration: (6+ months - eligible for extensions and full-time hire) Compensation: $65/hour W2 + Benefits or $70/hour C2C Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US Job Description: Will be working on the Control Center Modernization Technology Team. Knowledge/expertise with large scale IT project deployments applications knowledge is preferred. Will work with project manager to deliver technology solutions. Areas of responsibility include requirements gathering, testing, stakeholder interviews, creating initiative artifacts & documentation, technology research and technology implementation. Skillset / Experience: Have 3+ years of software development experience on Windows platform with at least 2 of the following programming languages .Net, Java, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, VBScript, etc. Be familiar with design and development of batch applications Be familiar with API programming with RESTful and/or SOAP based Web Services Be familiar with ETL tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Service Be a quick learner to develop applications based on vendor product SDKs Understand SQL Server and/or Oracle databases and the connection protocols such as ODBC, JDBC, etc. Understand software development lifecycle Our benefits package includes: (EXCLUDE on perm placements) Comprehensive medical benefits Competitive pay, 401(k) Retirement plan and much more!
