This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space programs that provides specialized IT support to Restricted, DOD, and Unclassified environments. This position requires knowledge and adherence to Information Assurance processes and procedures per NG InfoSec and program security.organizations. The applicant will be expected to support a variety of diverse, and dynamic environments. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic Qualifications:Five (5) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree; or 0 years of relevant experience with a PHD.Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances:Dept. of Defense Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 yearsOR SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 yearsOR Dept. of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years.Minimum of 2 to 3 years administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6/7/8 servers and workstationsMinimum of 2 to 3 years Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux server applications ( i.e. Samba, NFS, Chrony, Web servers )Preferred Qualifications:Active SCI ClearanceMeets DOD IAT requirements for security certs or be in the process of obtaining one. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
