Are you that go to I can fix it person?Then this might be the job you have dreamed of Field Service Technician-Jr . needed for an onsite-field position for one of Kodaks largest Print Customers.We provide paid training, competitive wage, and full company benefits including company contributions into your retirement account.We need you to bring: an electro-mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and repair large format printing equipment and the accompanying software programs plus a good customer facing image.You need to be able to FIX the machines and the customer. As a member of our team, you must be a dependable and customer service focused person who is interested in working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.The position will have a primary responsibility of service repairs/installs and informing/advising our customers.As a Field Service Technician-Jr ., you will repair, maintain, and install EPS Systems. These products may include Prosper Presses, S-Series Printers. Such an individual would need to drive customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance, configurations, and operations which may impact product performance. We are looking for an individual who will manage service calls (in real time) in our state-of-the-art system, including following up on service calls, identifying potential growth opportunities, and helping to ensure the sites profitability.JOB DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for assisting with maintaining and repairing EPS Systems, which may include hardware, software and networking products. Responsible for administering customer calls, timely completion of service reports, expense reports and weekly time reports, as well as the tracking of preventive maintenance and upgrade requirements for assigned customers. Assist in performing any servicing and preventative maintenance of equipment. Provide ongoing support for customers. Ability to delight customers by developing strong relationships and striving to exceed customer expectations. Presents and always maintains a professional image.SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES: A working knowledge of PC operating systems and software applications and a basic understanding of networking fundamentals Knowledge and application of electronics and electro-mechanical skills Ability to learn and apply new technologies. Demonstration of strong technical skills or interests Makes sound business decisions and manage/control personal business expenses. Readiness to accept and adapt quickly to change. Excellent communication and listening skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills including courtesy, tact, and discretion. Ability to work as part of a team. High degree of self-motivation. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma/GED Associates Degree in Electro-Mechanics discipline or equivalent experience preferred Valid Drivers License 1-3 yrs of experience problem-solving/troubleshooting Mechanical and/or Electrical equipment Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word, and other PC-based programs. Analytical skills Organizational skills Positive attitude Professional behavior Self-motivationPREFERRED: Three or more years related field service experience Previous experience servicing similar equipment Previous customer facing experience Experience in the Graphic Arts industry would be an asset Basic understanding of Color Theory Solid understanding of electro-mechanical devices and complex electro-optic and high-tech equipmentWORK ENVIRONMENT:The environment in which the Field Service Technician services may be a high availability/mission critical account where system outages may occur. The individual proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers business.The Field Service Technician will be paired with a mentor (typically a Field Engineer) until fully trained and deemed capable of performing task independently.The Field Service Technician may be required to provide On-Call, after hours support, or work different shifts based on company need. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
