Multi-Protocol Technical Lead (Remote Based)

Job Description:

W3BCLOUD is looking to add a multi-protocol technical lead to the team with an interest in the mapping out and understanding the breadth of the blockchain ecosystem. The role will take responsibility for building out, providing expertise advice and executing against our multi-protocol roadmap. This person is endlessly curious, wants to learn new decentralized development technologies as they emerge, a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment driving tangible business results. In this role, you will work closely with multiple protocols in the blockchain space and will be the technical relationship manager ensuring the success of both W3bCloud and the protocol. Working closely with the Business Development, Supply Chain and Technical teams, you will provide input, direction and access to the wider ecosystem through established relationships in the Blockchain space.

This role is a remote opportunity which can be based from anywhere.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Ability to research and dive deep into the blockchain ecosystem and technology to understand and define new strategic directions for W3bCloud's multi-protocol roadmap
Analyze protocols and opportunities, overseeing technicals and financials, and interfacing with protocols to drive key deicions about roadmap
Architect, define and execute on W3bCloud's multi-protocol roadmap, working closely with business, supply chain and technical teams
Define and create documentation of key blockchain protocols for W3bCloud to consider deploying hardware against -- consensus mechanism, technical architecture, financials, use cases, etc.
Be an expert on the technical design, implementation and mechanics of blockchain protocols
Provide input into hardware design where architecture must be tailored to successfully support a new protocol
Lead technical conversations about W3bCloud, blockchain technology, and industry-specific compute and resources needed to support protocols
Build and manage relationships with the leading protocol teams to ensure the success of W3bCloud and the protocol
Be the technical relationship manager and technical counterpart with W3bCloud's established protocols to ensure success of the partnership throughout the entire lifecycle
Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, technical, supply chain and integration teams
Proven technical understanding, analysis and documentation experience

Requirements
Proven technical understanding of blockchain protocols
3+ years of professional experience as a developer
Proficient in TypeScript and front end frameworks (React)
Experience writing in languages like Go and Java
Experience creating automated documentation tools
Experience with large information architecture projects
Established relationships with Vendors, Partners and Knowledge leaders in the industry
Experience with other well-established open-source technologies a plus
Experience working with collaboration tools such as Airtable, Discord, Telegram, and Zoom
Autonomous in taking ownership and at the same time team player
Detail-oriented and highly organized
