Description:About the RoleThe HR Generalist will deliver a full spectrum of HR deliverables that align with the business's strategic goals. You will have experience working with HR systems (HRIS), confidential employee data and strong project management skills. The role provides a broad exposure to the different facets of the HR function and offers the opportunity to take on challenges while accelerating your learning. Provide HR support to the overall business and employee population, recruiting and onboarding, learning and development (L&D), and daily transactional support Core Responsibilities:Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:HR GeneralistSupport the:

  • HR Director, HR Manager and HR support partners to resolve matters as they arise
  • HR Director in maintaining HRIS data integrity and processing of transactions in the HR system
  • HR Director with designing and delivering JPMS L&D initiatives for employees
  • HR Manager with all OSHA, Worker's Compensation and Workplace Safety initiatives
  • HR Team with basic compliance questions
  • HR Team with creating and maintaining HR Employee files
  • Perform all other duties as assigned within role scopeRecruitment & Onboarding
    • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR to identify resource needs, source, qualify and close candidates
    • Effectively assess candidates based upon skills, experience and fit with JPMS culture
    • Partner with the HR Director with Job Description creation, compensation benchmarking and maintaining our career framework
    • Leverage and expand network and social media presence to maximize potential for attracting candidates
    • Use Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to effectively manage the Talent Acquisition process and produce reports highlighting Key Performance Indicators such as time to close, acceptance rate and others
    • Track recruitment KPIs, like time to hire, source of hire and time to fill
    • Work with Hiring Managers and interviewers about effective recruiting techniques and how to remain legally compliant
    • Minimize use of external recruiters and manage relationships as needed
    • Serve as process lead in coordination with Hiring Managers for all employee onboarding activities
    • Partner with HR team to identify and recommend ways to improve efficiency of processes
    • Serve as a positive brand ambassador while supporting the company cultureRequirements:Incumbents must possess robust:
      • Knowledge of employee lifecycle from talent acquisition through departure
      • Knowledge of CA and Federal employment law
      • Interviewing and negotiating skills
      • Knowledge with HR and Applicant Tracking Systems
      • Knowledge of basic compensation practices and job classifications
      • Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite
      • Organizational skills
      • Relationship building skills, with employees, candidates, recruiting agencies and others
      • Professional verbal and written communication skills
      • Dynamic collaboration skills in a team environment
      • Wholesale / consumer goods / beauty industry experience preferred Education:
        • High school diploma or GED required
        • Bachelor's degree in a related field highly preferredExperience:
          • 5 years' experience in an HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition role
          • 5 years' experience with HRIS and ATS
          • 2 years' experience with L&D strongly preferredSalary Range: $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience.Salary Description$ 80000.00 - $ 100000.00Compensation details: 00 Yearly Salary
